I've got a Japanese Tele with 2 humbuckers with 1 volume control, 1 tone control and a small mini toggle switch which I need to clean up and re-wire. Does anyone know where I can find a diagram for this particular guitar? I have tried searching the Fender site but they do not list this particular guitar. Thanks for any help.

"...As you can see from my profile pic, I have a Tele (Japanese, 97-ish) with a P90 in the neck. I am looking to upgrade the pickups, actually have been looking to do so for some time, and need some help. What I need specifically is a set of wiring schematics that takes account of the fact that a P90 wants a 500k pots and a tele pickup wants 250k pots.

I am sure I have seen discussion of this issue on this forum before, but a search did not reveal much. Best I could come up was a link to this:

http://www.seymourduncan.com/support...1sing_1humneck

Would the wiring be the same for a P90 as for a humbucker in the neck?

More generally, what are the options for getting the two pickups well balanced? what else do I need to know? Any advice greatly appreciated.

Lindsay"

'Hope that this helps?
