I have an American Standard Tele with Bigsby Tremelo and im looking to get the Texas Special Pickups. I play mostly Rock and Roll and blues. Are there any other pickups that i should look at or stay with the Texas Specials?

I traded out my Texas Special pickups for Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders and I haven't regretted it.

I've got a Seymore Duncan Little '59 stacked humbucker in the bridge position. Its hot, gives it more oomph, but still retains the tele twang. Its a good pickup. Sounds better than the stock pickups in the MIA Strat I just purchased.

The first thing I did to my Am standard was put in the texas specials. I haven't looked back but I am intrigued by the quarter pounders and whatever Danny Gatton used. The name of those escapes me now...

I put Texas Specials in my Tele a few years back when the original pickups went bad. They sound great to me... I also have a Bigsby on mine, by the way...

I'd have a look at DiMarzio 'Area' series and the Seymour Duncan ... I just installed a Seymour Duncan Little '59 for my neck PU too.

Danny Gatton had Joe Barden pickups developed for him. Have been unavailable for a while but they started up again a year or so back I think.
They were single coil sized, rail-type humbuckers.
