Any other Peavey Classic 30 owners on this board. Great little amp and loud as hell!!
Course, i'm only using it till that old guy down the street sells me his silverface super reverb. One of these days he's gonna crack

I play through a Hot Rod Deluxe with lots of treble. I set my Tele to the bridge pick up and run through a bit of distortion and a bit of reverb. The tone is heavenly. There's nothing like the sound of a Fender guitar running though a Fender tube amp.

In the affordable range, I prefer the Blues Deluxe to the Devilles. In the unaffordable range, anything with a black face will do.

I've been looking around a while for a tube amp and the Peavey Classic has certainly muddied the waters for me. I want to stay Fender but this amp looks very appealing.

i use a 96 mex tele through a 07 or 08(not sure) hot rod deluxe or a 99 or 00 stage 160. love the hot rod and have had no problems or issues. the stage 160 is good for a solid state but is too loud for little venues. but i love them both. and wouldn't trade my tele for nothin. have many guitars but the 96 tele is my main prize posession.

I play my 57 through my 1970 2x12 MusicMan.Recently with a new power transformer from mercury magnetics. lush reverb and a very wet tremelo.Yeilds an awesome organ sound with that tremelo throbbing.

I also dig my my solid state 2X12 frontman. By far the best solid state sound ive messed with.I like to use my line6 delay moduler with this one.

Jam on!

Sonny

I play a 52 hot rod re-issue Tele through a Traynor Custom Valve 50. The amp is tubed like a Marshall with EL34's and voiced through a Celestion Vintage 30. Another big plus is that the amp is manufactured right down the road in Pickering Ontario.
