For a readily available amp, I would choose a 65RI Deluxe Reverb or a Blues, Jr.

...if you can find one, try the 1963 ReIssue Fender Vibroverb; brownface 2x10 40 watt tone monster...it's got a tough and sweet vibe.

Twin Reverb - can be used at Any size venue, use pedals for dirt at lower volumes.
If it's too loud or too heavy ----- you're too old.
Telecasters and Twins were created for each other brother.

I have a Blues Jr. in blonde tolex but I live in an apartment and seldom have the chance to crank my Telecaster through it lest I make the neighbors upset so I mostly play mine through a battery-powered Vox DA5 and I can get decent apartment volume, but I know the Blues Jr. would sound a lot better.

I'm new here (woo-hoo), but had to jump on this one.
This past year I plugged my 52RI into a '57 Deluxe...it was all over from there. I had to have it. For me it was that magic sound I always heard in my head.

I play my Nashville Power Tele through a Carvin Vintage 16 with a Celestion Vintage 30 speaker. Fulltone Full-Drive 2 pedal & a Dunlop Crybaby Wah. That's it!
