Hmm. I have another favourite....

The 69 Rosewood Tele (otherwise known as the George Harrison guitar).

Japan made some great replicas in the 80s and again in the early 00s.

My favorite Tele is my Lite Ash Natural with an added S-1 Switch and SCN pups. It sounds pretty hot and has a lot of growl and the grain looks wonderful. I lucked out when I bought it. It has a maple neck. Korean or not, it is one hell of a guitar. I love the look of the natural finish. To me that is the Classic Tele look.

I do love my my CIJ Aerodyne Tele; that neck P-90 is sure mighty soulful through my Blues Jr. I'm thinking of adding a Lite Ash--My Aero has spoiled me with its satin finish neck, and I like the sound of the SD's on the Lite.

Even if I got a Lite Ash Tele, I must say the '52 RI is the most beautiful guitar I ever seen! The Hot Rod version is great too!!!

The best Tele I've ever owned was a 68 Paisley with a Maple cap neck. I liked it better then my 51 and 53 models!

At this moment my Fender Classic Player Baja Telecaster.
If i had the money a blackguard '50s Telecaster or the new Fender
Vintage Hot Rod '52 telecaster.

Peter from Holland/Europe.

Just bought my first tele, and i'm just getting started, but I got a highway 1 Texas Tele. Has a great warm sound and i especially love the shape of the neck and the jumbo frets. Now when i pick up my sons strat it feels oh so different!

Of all the Teles that I have owned I think mine is a 1962 tele custom in 3 color sunburst and white binding.

I'm currently have one made with a maple neck and hum bucker.
