I play a MIM Tele through a Champion 600. I already have a Blues Driver but want a different kind of sound, fuzz. I don't play out and am still just learning but want to mess with something that is not going to break the bank(keeley, analogman). A;though i would love to have one of these pedals it seems overkill for my level and what I am doing.

Any suggestions on a decent Fuzz pedal as well as a Wah that are good quailty that won't break the bank.

dont waste your time with expensive so called boutique pedals. It costs pennies to make a fuzz that they charge stupid money for. A mate of mine makes em, you can find kits to make your own all over the web.
Heres a link to my mates site, he ships to the us, he just sold 4 pedals to a famous u.s guitarist.

I use the mosquito its great but very much a set and forget then control it from the guitar pedal. I'd look at the brit face if you want any of em, but my point is that you dont need to shell out megabucks on a name pedal. There are great pedals around from littleknown manufacturers. Or selfbuild fuzz kits that are easiy to assemble and you have the joy of knowing you made it. instead of paying a fortune for something that sounds the same as everything else.

I don't know how "fuzzy" you want to get, but if you don't want to get too extreme, try the Dunlop Jimi Hendrix JH2S Classic Fuzz. Small footprint (same size as a Phase 90), great creamy classic fuzz tones--not the screamy in-your-face ridiculousness of some fuzz/distortion pedals.

...the only problem is finding one!
