Hey guys. My Custom Classic Tele makes to much noise, so I think I need to change my PUs.
Ive looked at the Bare Knuckles Pickups, Boss, and Im wondering if anyone can suggest a PU that just wont make that dang hum through my amp.

Before you try changing the pups, try changing your cable(s). Also, is you amp near computers, flourescent lights, or other electronic equipment? this can sometimes cause noise. Are you using and effects/stomp boxes? These can also cause noise through your amp. At you residence, are the outlets grounded sufficiently? Are the pickups properly grounded in the guitar? These are all items that can cause noise. Of course, if money is not a problem and you want new pick ups, go for it.

Hello Rocksully,

I live darn near underneath a power line
and have always had noise with every
single coil equipped guitar. I can take em to
friends places and they're quiet as churchmice.
This has been going on for 40 years so
I'm used to it by now. More shielding may help
a bit.

Cheers.

You should try an Ebtech hum eliminator device.
