Just got her a short while ago, and got quickly reminded why I dont like buying sight unseen, as you can see from the photo, a medium pick slides easily between the neck and the horn......I have little experience with bolt ons, but I know this isnt good, what would be the cons of keeping it? can I wasily and cheaply repair it? Or should I go with my first thought and throw her back to MF?

She plays nice, asnd sounds nice, though tuning stabilty on the higher strings is awful, I suspect possibly due to the joint?

i've had a few like that mate. It never caused me a problem outside my own head. Its purely a visual thing and maybe a bit of tone transferance from the neck to the body. Take it back if you want, its up to you. It never bothered me much, i had mine for 13 years and only remedied it when i changed body due to a paintjob frustration.

I sent it back, thats too big a flaw for a new non factory second guitar for me to deal with, as well as not being one easily fixed. Hope the next one is better, if not I'll probably give one of the squire 50's vibe teles a go, that was what I was originally after till I saw the FSR, and for $75 more after discounts it seemed the much better buy.
