Hey, has anyone tried out the JA-90 yet? I love p-90s so I'd love to get my hands on one of these, but I wanted to see if anyone has any review of them yet. Thanks for any help.

I've tried a TC-90, and judging from the JA-90 specs I'll guess its tones are a bit more delicious than the TC-90, since the JA-90 was based on a modified TC-90.

I did see one in person recently, but didnt have time to play it. The red color is gorgeous. I was told by the shop owner that it sounds like a Gibson, and feels like a Fender. I think I'm gonna go back for another look. Its made in Korea for what thats worth.

I have to realize that I don't really need a TC-90 or a JA-90, since I'm building a custom Tele with P90s and Strat trem. (Warmouth body & neck). Although I've been considering buying a set of Lollar P90s for it, I might very well go with Fender Black Dove P90s, which I think is what the TC-90 has, so I've got some "test drive" experience to go on.

Haha I'm building a custom tele with SCNs, 62RI body, custom neck from warmoth and a circuit similar to the baja. It's since been put on hiatus since I need to funds for the warmoth neck and then it's done. I also want one with a p90 or humbucker in the neck, but I really want to try out either the JA-90 or the TC-90. I just like the telecaster shape of the JA-90 more. Of course I also want a Jazzmaster so I don't know how much of a difference there will be other than in feel. Thanks for the help though everyone.

I found specs on the TC-90, and found out that Fender used Seymour Duncan pickups, and that's what they're using in the JA-90, so Duncans will likely be my choice.

Ive been dying to get a JA-90 and cant find any reviews or videos of it at all, with the exception of $@! playing live (Which doesnt really do much when all you want to hear is the one guitar.) but I have complete faith in Jim and his taste in a guitar. Its got to be a great guitar for a great price. I think im going to get one now.

if anyone has any videos of it please let me know!
