I know what you're all thinking

IS IT POSSIBLE TO INSTALL A FLOYD ROSE TREMOLO SYSTEM ON A TELECASTER

Of course, with the help of lots of power tools and guitar technician help aswell.

But still, can it be done?

I guess you could do it, you'd just have to get the body routed for a Floyd Rose. Then the nut on the neck would have to be modified for a locking nut...You'd pretty much have to get rid of the bridge plate if you are going to use a regular trem, and possibly look into directly mounting the bridge pickup to the body....BUT then you have to be concerned about how deep the bridge pickup routing is, and if it will interfere with the Floyd Rose routing...and thats just for starters as there are probably several other key things I am not even thinking about now. I don't know if you were looking into modifying a Fender Tele with a Floyd Rose, but you may be better off looking into getting a custom Tele body from someplace like Warmoth where they may be able to get you a body that will work...

It can be done, but its most likely something I would have a professional do unless you have experience working with guitars, carpentry skills, and various power tools, or access to people with those things...

Kahler would be the way to go if anyway. no routing. Except for the utter agro your going to have fitting the locking nut.
You'd do better to find a HM tele.

Dude that would be too freaking cool!
Don't let anyone talk you out of it.
It might take years and cost millions of lives, but in the end it will be worth it.

Yeah I LOVE modded guitars.
Build it as a prototype and then sell the idea/design to Fender (get your own signature model :D )

this sounds like a great idea but i would use a strat with the floyd on it then use tele pickups and wiring. this would make it less labor intensive.
hope this helps you :D
