I'm thinking of buying a HWY 1 Texas Tele. Anyone out there have one. I'm woundering about the 12" radius. How do y'all like them? Are they good for blues/county lead?

The 9.5" neck will be more comfortable to play, especially for chord work. A 12" radius will make the neck less prone to "fretting out" during extreme bends.

This will mostly depnd on you and your playing style. yeas, the 12" will make bends less likely to "fret out" but lots of very great players played on vintage Teles and Strats with 7.25" radius necks. Myself I prefer the 9.5" om my MIA Deluxe over the 12" radius fretboards.

Those jumbo frets on the 12" radius can seem like "speed bumps" until you get accustomed to them.

I personally like the 9.5" radius boards and necks on those gits.

I prefer the 9.5" radius over the 12". My Epi's and Gibson have the 12" radius and it feels odd to me. Just too flat.
