I've been having nothing but trouble finding a bridge to fit the tele I'm building. It's a 2008 American standard. I have pics below to show what I'm talking about. I've been looking around forever to find a bridge that fits, but it's been very hard to find anything. I thought I found something once on Ebay, it took over 60 days for the bridge to get to me and when it did, the seller had sent the wrong size. So it's just not worth dealing with that seller.

So this is what I'm looking for I'd like a six saddle bridge with 3 anchoring screws on the back and two smaller ones towards the neck.
From center to center of the holes on either end the string spacing is 2 and 1/16
From end to end of holes on either end the string spacing is 2 and 1/4
The spacing of the anchor screws is 2 and 3/4 end to end
and from center center is 2 9/16

I've had a huge amount of trouble finding anything with string spacing of 2 1/16 and finding things with 3 anchoring screws that fit. To my knowledge this is the specs of the new bridge for the 2008's or a deluxe bridge or something. But I know next to nothing about guitars, so I'm hoping one of the tele experts here would be able to help me out.
Could you tell me what kind of bridge I'm looking for? Or if possible show me where one is sold? Even if anyone has a used one laying around they'd be willing to sell that would be cool. I'm student so I don't really have $80 to throw down on to a bridge, so I don't care if the bridge is on the cheaper side. I'd prefer it if it was top loading and string through.

Here are some pic of my tele and the bridge I have that doesn't fit. Try to ignore the clutter, I was homework haha. Sorry about the low quality, they're cell phone pics.

Just the tele: http://i35.tinypic.com/350ksux.jpg

Bridge that does not work: http://i36.tinypic.com/jh4j60.jpg

Also, if anyone is looking to buy that bridge that doesn't fit, feel free to make me an offer.

Wilkonson makes a compensated 3 saddle bridge in 2 sizes but you will need to make your measurements in millimeters to get the right ones.
check reliablefender on ebay they sell a lot of Fender parts. I think I got the size you want from choppersmusic on ebay. Not all sellers show any dimensions but I seen them mainly on wilkinson's. I'm buildng 2 tele's 1 body is american the other is imported and I've bought 2 wilkonson's from different sellers. Good luck 8)

I'll copy and paste my reply from TDPRI as it seems you haven't seen it there yet.

From what I understand the bridge mounting on the US models hasn't changed, only the saddles. A US standard, series or deluxe bridge should fit.

I haven't found any aftermarket sellers offering a cheap version that will fit - however an official Fender item runs about $50,

or you can buy plate and saddles independently from Musician's Friend for $35

Don't worry about the 2 front screws - seems these are a relatively new addition to the US Series/Standard, and are not really needed. The deluxe bridge doesn't use them, and fits just fine (I've got one here)

Looking at the bridge you bought I'd hazard a guess and say they sent you an import bridge - Standard Squiers have the same layout (3+2 screws) but the 3 rear fixing screws are considerably further away from the string-thru holes than the US standard.

I think gsh nailed it for you, and the front two screws should only add a little bit of sustain. If those answers don't do it for you, check out Callaham guitar parts:

I've been PAINFULLY impressed with what they can do, and even though you're going to spend a bit more money, I bet their knowledge and products will make it worth it to you. Good luck!
