Hey Jim, buddy, pal, If your reading this please feel our pain.
We simply NEED more Tele's manufactured. Many of us are loyal fans
of you and Fender and we are not complete without our Jim Root
commerative Telecaster! I personally have stopped listening to the
new Slipknot album only because I find it too painful to listen and not
be able to play along! Please put a good word in so we can be elevated
to full maggotry. So please, everyone let Jim know how we feel! Please
post your own sad story of waiting month after month after month......

Having to wait so long for this guitar had made
me want it even more and worn out at the same time.
I was told by a Fender Rep that October production was
ramped up to meet demand. I guess I just thought it would
Be cool if Jim himself was reading and could feel the love.
I know that he's in no position to call Fender who endorses him
and be all "get your butt in gear" or anything. I just wanted to
show some support for others who are separated from their axe
and are feeling the withdrawl symptoms and need to talk about it,
My wife just nods her head and really has no pity for my condition
she's just so cold...

well guys dont hold your breath, i waited 7 months for my jim root tele in white, i've had it since april, and to say im less than impressed would be an understatement!!

the set up was total rubbish! and after only six months of playing the flat black hardwear is starting to come off and show the chrome underneath.

come on fender you take our hard earnt cash then make us wait, at least make the wait worth it! and the get the produce right first time.

I plan on building one out of parts from Warmoth. It'll cost less and get done faster.

I wanted a Blackout Tele back in march and they were behind in production. I built my own and I love it. I would love to say I did it cheaper than I would if I had bought the real deal, but a few complications reared their ugly heads (high end black components) and I also decided I didn't like the Lace Sensors I had installed and put a set of 3 custom Jason Lollars which set me back a few more bucks, but in the end, it has turned out to be my most favorite and best sounding guitar.
