Well, I'm just about to own it. The new Fender 2008 American Standard Telecaster. I love it! Chrimson transparent red with an ash body and maple fret board. I should have it in a week 'cause it will be shipping from the Fender factory in Corona California starting Monday.

I started off with a Telecaster copy, by Stagg I believe. It was heavy, and extremely awkward to play. I got myself an American Deluxe, and the difference is just incredible. After being so impressed, I got a MIJ Tele too. They're both great guitars to play, so I'd have to say the best I've played, I have

2000 American Power Deluxe Telecaster. It was so awsome. I paid $1740.00 for it in 2001 and have never regretted it. I have some really great guitars, and some that cost even more, but if I was to be limited to only one guitar, this is the one.

I would have to say the one on the left, it's a 1999 '52 AVRI Telecaster.
On the right is a 2000.
