It's a nice lightweight guitar, but still has a heavy Tele sound. I also like the 7.25” radius on 'em. 8)

that I'm not sure of since I only have a Japanese Tele and I have never played a American Tele

I have a thinline, though it might be the 72. I am a woman and I like it because it is really light. Mine is natural wood. It's a beauty.

It may depend on the individual guitar, but generally speaking I've found that the frets are nicer (smooth rolled edges) on american standards.
