Come on now.
These are two different beasts. They are both nice playing guitars with different attitudes. Oops, Burp!! clumsy me I knocked over both guitars........

Dang! That SG head stock looks chipped and oh no!!!! the neck is cracked at the body. Dang it!!!! :shock:
Oh well, and by the way, give me a rag to wipe the dirt and spilled beer off the tele and turn it up because it's still in tune :D

Can't go wrong with a tele and you can almost buy 2 MIA's for the cost of the Gibson SG. The repair cost for that drunken misstep above could buy you a MIM tele and that's all good too.

Tele's live forever.. Gibsons die wit glue on the headstocks...
