Yeah, that's the best thing that you can do. I just recieved my new Squier Standard Telecaster in the mail yesterday and the high E tuner was broken right off. Took it back to my local Guitar Center and they have another on order. No questions asked.

The guitar manager was going to swap the tuner with one off the Tele Special but as I told him, they were different. :D

So just bring it back

Man if you aren't kidding that really sucks. I'd get on the horn to Fender and start swearing at them.

I'll bet it's not an American Tele.

Bring it back, send it back and make sure you let the place who sold it to you know that it's broke.

O.K. guys, are we getting a little ahead of ourselves here ???

were awefull fast to start blaming Fender from info were getting from a one time poster ????? really!!!

Tuners falling off ???? really !!!!!

pickup falling out ???? really !!!!!

I have purchased well over 50 Fenders over the last ten years from Squier 51's to a customshop limited edition Tele and never needed more than a set up.

Me thinks I smell a skunk !!!!

It's funny, I was thinking the same thing, but gave him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he had one of those cheap fender gig bags and dropped the guitar and it shattered

It is the falling off that sounds wrong. Maybe a broken tuner or pickup but not falling off. Come on :!:

I believe he said it was already returned to the store for a replacement.
But photos wouldn't hurt
