I've always liked Jimmy Bryant and Speedy West's material.

"Little Rock Getaway" is a great one, imo.

"Bandana" by the Tennessee Two, almost all of the 50s Johnny Cash songs, and a more recent Bill Kirchen song, "Hammer of the Honky Tonk Gods"

I agree and would add Roy Buchanan to the list too.

So many great ones, where do you start? Pick one by each artist mentioned?

Danny Gatton - Harlem Nocturne
Roy Buchanan - Sweet Dreams
Jimmy Bryant - Night Rider
Bruce Springsteen - Kitty's Back
Steve Cropper - Soul Man, Time is Tight (Stax)
James Burton - My One Desire (with Ricky Nelson)
Luther Perkins w/ Johnny Cash - Folsom Prison
Bill Kirchen - Hot Rod Lincoln Live

I'm not really up on the more modern stuff like Status Quo, or ,most of the British rock stuff, but Jimmy Page played a Tele on something about a "Stairway" somewhere

Brian May - Crazy Little Thing Called Love

I got to thinking...Mike Bloomberg on Dylan's Highway 61 Revisted, came off the street drenched by the rain, carrying a tele with no gig bag or case in his hand and the Super Sessions with Al Kooper
