The Octave is a bit sharp and the String itself sounds retarded when I play it. I keep trying to fix it by tampering with the Action, but I get nothing. Also it sounds like the string is hollow or something, and the sound is a bit dull compared to the other strings.

Anyone know how to fix, or is this a problem with the Standard Tele?

Sounds to me like that string is dead. Try changing strings.

Also sounds like you need to have the intonation set. Possibly a complete set up?

Well, the thing is, it's always the 6th string that "dies". As for the intonation, I have actually tried that once, and I can say it did help. it doesn't really matter since it's only a little sharp.

But I maybe it's just the quality of string I'm using. The thicker strings suffer from more tension so I guess that's why it ends up dead so fast.

Fenders are real finicky guitars as say compared to Gibsons.
