To post a photo on this forum your image (photo), needs to be accessible on the internet at a location that is known to you for example this location of one of my photos:

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DL4090GX4AYWv8b.jpg

It's probably a good idea to have this forum and your new message open in one browser window and locate your image in another browser window or tab.

When you find your image copy the location from the address line in your browser (mark the text and select it for copying).

In your tab or window where your new forum message is being composed click on the "Img" box above the message and in the message body you will see two [Img] tags, paste your image location/URL between those two tags.

When you Preview or Submit your new message your image should appear.

This is what it should look like when you're composing a post with an image in it.
Code:
[img]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DL4090GX4AYWv8b.jpg[/img]

Which gives you this:

Good luck.

thank you Steve for the picture help. Upon reviewing the pictures while trying to post them I did notice the solder joint that the solder point from the white wire by the pickup part # looks a little wonky. Of course I put new strings on and tuned it back up cause it 's my only guitar but would be willing to open it back up again at earliest opportunity to take a closer look. wondering if that solder shoud be removed and redone? I assume a sound sample needs to be posted on a 3rd party site also? https://imgur.com/a/V4uhehZ I tried using the image tool but couldn't seem to get it to work

The solder joint could be OK.
I wouldn't take its appearance as a sign of anything at this point.

Looking at the photos there's no shielding on the scratchplate, so no grounding required.
I think that points towards static electricity being the cause of the noise.
It could simply be the composition of the plastic used for the pickguard.

Screening would help, along with a new ground cable connected to the control plate and the guard screen (as per the control plate cover in the video I posted a link for).

While you're waiting you could check continuity between all the metal parts of the guitar (tuning machines, strings, bridge, neck pickup cover), and the control plate, and also check the screening paint to the control plate.

There doesn't appear to be any screening paint in the neck pickup routing.
I'm wondering if it's better to do a full screening job on the guitar.

I do have a tester. Not adept at using it. I’ll do some research over the weekend and report on continuity. I’ll start with the tape and running a wire to the volume pot. If that doesn’t fix the issue I’ll paint the cavity. But I’ll report back as soon as I get the tape on her.

Has the guitar had this problem since you acquired it?
Can you provide more details about what happens with the static noise when the neck and bridge are selected and if there is any difference when the s-1 switch is engaged or disengaged?

I looked for some wiring info for this guitar but couldn't find any.

What info I could find, just indicates that the s-1 switch changes the neck and bridge pickups in the middle position between parallel and series.

It seems odd to me that is accomplished by switching the green wire of the neck pickup and not the black.

I'm a fan of shielding, not sure you can have to much, especially with single coils, so I don't want discourage you from proceeding with your current plans.

But I do have questions when the pickups are "noiseless" (stacked humbuckers) and which wires are being switched.

It's too bad that Fender can't provide a wiring diagram for all of their guitars. I get the whole "warranty" thing, but the "proprietary" thing is a bit much.

It also seems odd to me that "static issues" seem to be a more recent. Makes me long for a finish of more traditional composition along with the plastics.

You are 100% right .
IMO static may come more from the plastic scratchplate.
Is better shielding will stop static ? I think so.

I'll remove nut and washer from pots and pickups switch to clean them and retighten to the control plate. To be sure ground is 100 % good.

After sitting down tonight and consciously playing without touching the pick guard I did not have one occurrence of this issue. I normally fan my fingers out when strumming and also will anchor my fingertips to the pick guard while playing ( needless to say this was difficult for me) . I have been having this issue since purchasing the guitar in response to that question. The room I play in is carpeted and I assume static electricity is the culprit. I should have the shielding tape by Monday and installed by Tuesday morning. Fingers crossed that fixes the problem

Carpet floor may be the issue.
You may need to discharge your body by putting a hand on a house ground before playing guitar ; a gear you use with good ground

I will shield the pickguard with copper tape,
Do not forget to put a wire from this copper tape to guitar ground.

Before you receive foil tape, I'll do this test :
I'll put a stranded wire between pickguard and body ( in sandwich) to guitar ground. Like Fender do for bridge.

I agree with you on that FMIC should publish all (or as many as as available) service diagrams, but their current policy seems to be quite the opposite - they seem to be taking even the old price lists and Frontlines off circulation.
But the Elite Tele diagram is still here:
