Hey all, I was willed a Harrison tele and was wondering if the production models came with a certificate or just the custom shop models as there was no certificate in case.
Thanks for any help is appreciated

Mostly replying because I don't want you to think you're being ignored.

From what I've been able to find out on the web, (doesn't mean it's correct info, necessarily) Fender made a run of 1000 of them in 2017. While not "custom shop", they were supposed to come with a COA, but apparently some did not. If you got bought one of those, and had a receipt, and emailed Fender, they would send you a COA.

Some other info might be helpful, like pictures or a serial number.

You can also contact Fender with the serial number and they should be able to provide you some info about your particular guitar.

Here is a link to email them:

I do remember some very nice MIJ rosewood Teles a bit later in the 80s; they had the serial numbers on the back of the neck heel about an inch or so above where it bolts on to the body - these would be a very small 2-line decal with the serial number on the first line and "Made in Japan" on the second line.

Wow! Congrats! That has to be the heaviest guitar I ever picked up. A great guitar though!

I think the Dan Armstrong Plexiglass guitar was the heaviest I ever tried.
