I have a Squire classic vibe 50s Tele and have swapped the neck pick up for a Seymore Duncan Hot for Tele Pup which is a big improvement but when i switch to the middle position the volume drops and its very thin and tinny in the bridge position the volume comes back to normal . I can't figure it out ? Ive wired it in the same way as the original . Could it be the two pick ups are not compatible.. All help greatly appreciated. Phil. :?:

IMO your pickups are out of phase. Try to reverse the 2 wires from only one of your pickups.
