Hello all. I recently acquired a 1977 Tele Deluxe in fantastic shape. I've haven't made any changes yet, but it looks like the saddle intonation screws are stripped. Assuming I can get them off, I'd like to replace for ease of future mod. I've had a hard time nailing down the specifics on the type of screw and springs I should use. Anyone know?

Thanks,
Eric

I'd guess 4-40 thread size for US/imperial sized intonation screws - both Strat and Tele.

But check that the saddles (= screw hole threads) are OK before getting just the screws.
Plus, there is the chance the saddles/screws aren't original on a 1977 guitar... (A metric sized screw would most likely be M3-0,5.)
