Can anyone enlighten me on changing strings on this type of tuning peg. I am not satisfied with the last time I did it. I have a '52 reissue hot rod tele.

I was having some difficulties a while back with that, too. Do a Google video search of "telecaster" and "restring." The one I'm thinking of was from 300guitars, and it was very good. I've adopted that technique ever since.
Good luck!

Here's a link to make it even easier.

Hello Liveatsix,

Great video thanks.

After watching it
my weekend project is
to build that guitar work
station stand thingamajig,
looks like it would be handy.

Cheers.

Again, my pleasure to help!

I would be skeptical of a workstation thing like that. It looks like it puts some extra strain where the neck and body join. I prefer to lay my guitars flat on a when I work on them.

Mission accomplished. I followed the instruction on the video and the string change went flawlessly. A piece of cake. I specifically thought the part about the break angle on the G,D,E strings was really smart. Thanks again.
