:?: Just bought a mint 2006 Nashville Deluxe Power Telecaster. Sunburst with a Pearl Pickguard! If the 9 Volt battery is weak does the red light come on? Do you have to unplug cable to keep battery from discharging? Thanks :D Just found out cable has to be unplugged. (So how about an on-off switch for battery box so you can leave guitar plugged in)

All pickups are Tex-Mex and have 5-way "Strat-o-tone switching", only it includes a Fender/Fishman Piezo bridge. The Piezo is active with the 9 volt battery compartment in the rear of the guitar.

Maybe unplugging the cable would stop from running down the battery, but I don't know for sure. Someone will hopefully chime in who knows for sure.

Enjoy it!

Thanks for the information! After finding the owners manuel on Fender site. You have to unplug cable or battery will run down. :?: (Has anybody put an off - on switch on battery wire so guitar can be left plugged into guitar cable)
