Hello Folks, new here ,and was hoping to get some opinions on a possible purchase of a Custom one off Telecaster i have a chance at. Sorry I'm more of a vintage acoustic guy, but have some electric's too ,again vintage, but this IS a very nice guitar !!! And so hoping I'm not breaking any rules by asking if any of you folks can give an approx. value that this guitar is worth ?? Hate to over pay. Does it being a one off make it worth more? Does it matter who the builder is?? age matter??
its a 2003 Todd Krause Custom one off build. Its beautiful, i haven't played it yet, but i know the owner and it is like new!! So don't expect any surprises.
Not sure if the pics are coming thru(?)
So whatcha folks think ?

Thanks again (uncle) BOB

Your pics links require a sign-in, and on top of that, your post suffered a r-e-a-l long delay with the forums spam fighting policy…

I would suggest that, if it is a Todd Krause one off original, then it is worth what ever you, or anyone else is willing to pay for it, assuming that is more than the sum which will make the original owner part with it.

The whole IF is confirming, without shadow of doubt, it is what it purports to be. Because the value could be significant the sums involved encourage the unscrupulous to make such claims for a big score.

I still cant see the pictures but, in some respects, they are irrelevant unless by way of spotting a massive fake.

If it is what it is, and there is no doubt in its authenticity, then I would suggest paying the original build price 15 years later would be something of a bargain.

Well ,in the second reply from (jmattis) he mentions it requires a "sign-in" maybe this means ,as long as I'm signed in you may be able to see pics/links ???
I usually stay signed in, but this site might automatically sign you out after a certain amount of time ??
anyway I'm signed in as of now

((John Sims)) yessir, it comes with the COA and from a friend so not worried at all about being a fake !!! And i can get it for considerably less than original purchase price. So probably a deal(?)And i was told there's a $3500 master build fee just to start these days ?

BUT would still appreciate your folks opinions ,,THANKS !!!!!

First you need to upload your pics to the internet. From a great forum member ; Jmattis

Use a pic hosting site (imgur, imgbb, flickr or such - avoid photobucket) or some common web framework like e.g. facebook, googlephotos - whatever you're familiar with.

The important thing is that the web site provides you with a pic address - that's the one starting with 'http' and ending in '.jpg'.

Copy the pic address, and use the IMG-command (visible when you write a message) on the forum.

Preview your post so everything is OK.
