The Gotoh GTC 101 or 102 bridge is probably the best to improve the appearance. The string spacing of 52.5mm is narrower than many.
Check dimensions here https://g-gotoh.com/international/produ ... ard-series

To me it looks like a manufacturing error. I can't help thinking if you moved the existing bridge 1mm to the left and the bridge pickup 1mm to the right the strings would align evenly over the bridge pickup poles. They wouldn't be centered as the pickup string spacing is narrower than the bridge spacing.

Then the neck pickup would be way out.

I think as someone mentioned here, it’s some weird OEM version of the Pearly Gates and the poles are not spaced correctly for this guitar but Fender went ahead as they were much cheaper to spec.

From bridge, NECK pickup across neck and to the nut it’s all lined up - it’s only the bridge pickup that’s odd - so either wrong spec or slightly dodgy routing. As I said, there’s zero reason for it and I’ve contacted Fender.

Gotoh bridge ordered.

Both pickups have the same spacing... it's standard humbucker spacing.
The strings converge as you move up the neck... go ahead and measure them, they are closer together at the neck than they are at the bridge.

It's just how Fender decided to install the bridge or the bridge pickup.
The only way to fix it:
Remove the pickup, dowel the holes, and remount the pickup ring.
Remove the bridge, dowel the holes, and remount the bridge.

Looking at the latest picture of your replacement, it does look like the strings are slightly closer to the edge of the treble side of the neck.

It really does look like the bridge is offset.

I added reference lines from both the bridge and neck, lining everything up on the bass side (since it is closest to the pickup)
I do agree that a bridge with narrower string spacing will help, but it may not bolt up to those mounting holes.

What's the measurement between the outside pole centres of the bridge pickup?
I suspect it's 48mm.
