The player series telecaster bent saddles/screws do not fit the bridge plate as they block the string openings. It is blatantly obvious whenever anyone goes to string the guitar, so it was clearly due to laziness and poor quality control.

Are they being revised currently? If so, when will they be available and can they be mailed to the customer? Do you also offer the block saddles instead?

You don't get an answer from Fender here, the forum is a platform for us amateurs…

Try contacting Fender Consumer Relations via the support pages email. AFAIK, you're not alone with the problem, and it seems Fender is in the process of warranties & fixes. No info yet if & when there will be a redesign.

BTW, would be nice to know the outcome.

Reading posts at tdpri, Fender are aware of the problem and may or may not produce revised saddles with a longer slot.
The suggested fix is to take your guitar to a Fender authorised service center and swap the saddles for the cast saddles as used on the Mexican Standard. Alternatively it may be possible to arrange for Fender to mail the saddles if you want to swap them yourself.
IMHO it is one major design flaw that should never have happened.

I contacted Fender and they are aware and advised me to simply contact my local dealer and it is where I bought the guitar originally. They are replacing the saddles for no charge and since it is a 70 mile one way trip, they are sending me the saddles to help out. (I am also a builder so it’s no problem for me to replace them myself .) They were both very polite and helpful. Happy guy !!

They provide the forum, they don't comment on it. They may or may not read it.
