If you can't set it up yourself, which in my opinion is a long slog to learn (took me ages to learn from various YouTube vids and manuals), then drop her off to a local luthier to do a set up. It may cost to begin with, but if you learn yourself, eventually you will save yourself a mint. Best of luck.

A local guitar shop should/would set the guitar up for you before you take it away. This may or may not happen with an online vendor.

Because guitars are made of wood there is inevitably some movement due to changing environmental conditions. Electric guitars often have lower actions than accoustic guitars and, as a result, these movemens can manifest themselves in fret buzz and the like.

Setting up a guitar isn't rocket science and is well explained on a number of YouTube videos and elsewhere. If you approach it in tiny steps, take note of what you have done so you can return it to original if it doesn't work, then you can soon work your way to reasonable solution yourself.

This makes sense if it was shipped from a warehouse in another region.
If you bought it locally and it has been in their store for some time, it is already pretty well acclimated.

How loud is the buzzing coming through your amp?

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
