Icabodcrane! Tele plus! You dont see many of them around anymore, and in the blue burst id say its even rarer. You need to talk to xhefri, world leader in pluses and ultras. He'll give you the details you need
You might be able to find some info on his website too (just google xhefri)

A few Teles have arrived in recent months...

2012 Fender Select Telecaster with gold hardware...
Image

2012 Fender Custom Shop "Mary T" Crimson Red Telecaster Relic also with gold hardware...

1996 Fender Custom Shop "Cunetto" Nocaster Relic...

I've traded my bound Dakota Red partscaster and also picked up another very special "T" style. Not a Fender, so I won't post here...

Just joined the board today. I have a 1989 US Tele in metalic aquamarine, with rosewood neck. I've been playing guitar for some 40 years and it took me until last year to get a Tele - goodness knows what took me so long - NOTHING sounds like a Tele! :D

Hey, I have a Tele apparantly in Metellic Aquamarine and they sure look different!

If the Tele in the top picture is a 1989, the color is actually Gunmetal Blue (rare). The teal color Tele in the picture at the bottom is Caribbean Mist (also rare).

Out of curiosity, how can you tell? Is it because the strings don't go through the body? Or the weird-looking texture of the black paint finish on the back? That guitar would have fooled me, I must admit...

i dont know much, but i know on that guitar the logo is wrong, the string trees are wrong, the bridge is wrong. i think it is missing a fret that the real one has. not only is the paint finish crap, but the highway one guitars this was supposed to be are satin finished, not gloss. the trussrod hole in the headstock should have a dark wooden plug in it, walnut i think.

now you know, find pics of a genuine highway 1 tele, and you'll notice these things straight away.

Here is my "Partscaster" Tele. Highway 1 body and MIM neck. Road worn Tex Mex neck pickup and AM Std bridge pickup. Would like to get a "real" factory made Tele some day but for now, I am pretty happy with this one!

aside from the logo decal being wrong and not being string through, there is no truss rod plug. It would be walnut on the USA teles (including US Highway 1's) and black plastic on the MIM teles. Fender does not do "no plug". Even the 50's styles with the truss rod at the butt still had a walnut dumby plug at the headstock. The tuning keys also look incorrect for the series. The jack plate is not correct either.
