For 2011, the 60th Anniversary of the Telecaster, Fender is releasing 12 different USA-made Telecasters that span the spectrum of Telecaster styles over the years, from classic designs like the Rosewood Telecaster, made famous by George Harrison in the ’60s, to modern classics like the Cabronita Telecaster.

Some of these models were previously available only as Custom Shop models. Every month starting in March, 2011, a new USA Telecaster model will be released in issues of 300 to 500 guitars world wide. Pre-orders are now being taken and will sell out quickly. These Limited Edition USA (non-Custom Shop) 60th Anniversary Telecasters may be viewed at the following links:

I Pre-Ordered this USA, Antique Burst, Flame Top Telecaster with gold hardware and pearl tuning machine keys, from Fender dealer near my home yesterday!!! OH YEAH!!!

Check with smaller Fender dealers and avoid the large chains if you want one of these Telecasters. Only Fender Dealers who agree to purchase one of each of the 12 limited edition 60th Anniversary Telecasters will receive these guitars each month to sell, so not all Fender dealers will have them. Check around, and if a Fender Dealer is not carrying them, ask if they know who has them. That's how I found mine.

I will post actual pictures of my Limited Edition Flame Top Telecaster when I receive it in March or April.
OH YEAH!!!

wow thats one awesome looking guitar mate i look forward to seeing your one when you get it, i love the gold hardware, wouldn't mind changing mine out for gold

Thanks highway1teleboi, I can't wait to receive it either. It's supposed to come in around St. Patricks Day. That would be better than a Guiness!!

This is about as close to a 40th Anniversary Custom Shop Flame Telecaster that you can get and it's quite a ways under $2,000!! While it doesn't have the heavily flamed neck, nor the banding of the 40th Anniversary Tele, Fender did gold plated the bridge saddles this time, the lack of which, bothers me about the 40th Anniversary Telecaster.

If I had a 40th Anniversary Tele, I know I'd get the bridge saddles gold plated -- or buy the current gold Schaller bridge saddles.

Here is a picture that I took this morning. I love this combo...a 50's classic Tele with a ~17 year old Pro JR. Sometimes the MXR Classic OD pedal gets inbetween them.

Thanks guys. I took the picture with little natural light in the room so it resulted in poor photo quality. I'll try to get some better pics soon.

Very nice indeed! ~17 yr old PJ - are you sure about that? Is it a CS model? A friend of mine, Dave Sugarbeet has a nice vintage CS Pro Jr.

Well, I'm not exactly sure of the age, but I was told that these special edition PJ's were made in America in the early 90's. I was told that this amp is from 1993 or 1994. Of course, I could be wrong....I've been wrong once before (I think). :)

My No.1 Fender, a 2007 Artist Series Joe Strummer Telecaster plus DIY 5F1 Tweed Champ type practice Amp. When Fender came up with the Custom `57 Champ Reissure it was already too late. The rack unit left to the guitar is an old Marshall 9001 tube preamp. I use it as sound shaper in front of the Champalike which is still too loud for my Neighbour`s ears :? .

Here is my newest "Tele". It is my version of a Jeff Beck Esquire. I mistakenly ordered a Tele pick guard, so an Esquire guard is on the way.

Instead of an exact replica, I wanted a real player. I went with a compound radius neck that is a duplicate of my 2010 American Deluxe Ash Neck. All of the hardware is a Callaham Distressed Tele Kit with compensated saddles. It is a mean machine.
