Thanks, I'm having a hard time capturing how smooth and sparkly this thing came out.

New to the forum, but I figure this as good a thread to start as any

My Teles, both Warmoth necks and bodies. The top is a swamp ash body (with some flame), Tequila Sunrise Burst, and Rio Grande Dirty Harry pickups. The deluxe is alder, Lake Placid Blue, and has Dimarzio Air Norton and Super Distortion pickups. Love them both!

I made a mod to my '52 AVS Tele which consisted of a customized finished vintage neck (blank headstock which I modded), as well as a pickguard. If you've ever seen a color pic of Springsteen with his Tele/Esquire from the mid 70s, this mod is pretty close. I can swap the mod on/off anytime I like (one good thing about bolt-on necks).

Here it is shopped in for comparison to its inspiration - The Tele/Esquire's appearance in mid 70s

Hand made custom Telecaster - my first guitar project. Hand painted believe it or not.
Looks like real wood grain.

just picked up this La Cabronita Especial build today, at the price I got it for I couldn't say no. Now I have to decide if I am going to refinish it in blonde or sonic blue, then spray the neck with a few more coats to darken it up and relic the whole thing. figure worst case scenario I could sell it and break even or make a few dollars.
