Dear Alainlafrance, I'm so sorry for any confusion - I've just realised I made a mistake! I have so many MW tribute tele photos in one folder on my computer and somehow I got confused. My apologies! By the way I didn't have time before (the forum was closing) to thank you for your response. So - thank you! I appreciate the advice. I am undecided about this guitar - does US$4300 seem reasonable to you, mint cond with all original extras? I'm afraid I will be scared to play it (I am a professional blues player - see www.mojowebb.com - ) in case I de-value it too much. Guitars are meant to be played, right? I'll see if I can post a photo of my current, Lollar Charlie Christian neck PU- equipped tele soon. Thanks again, Mojo.

The MW Tele has so many scratches and dings, I ain't sure a few more would be pointed out.
For the price I'm in Europe and bought mine in Europe so I can't tell but it's a great guitar in a limited number so...

I store them in my basement or in a Secured storage while away during holiday as I have about 100.
I do have several vintage guitars as you can peruse in my photosite
including some I bought when I was young in the '60s

and which, for some of them, luckily I kept.

Here are mine....an '03 American Vintage Tele Custom with a NOS 60s Bigsby ( I got it before Fender reissued them) and American Vintage Jazz/Jag bridge.

The other is my first parts-o-caster that I just finished. Ash body, one piece maple neck, Texas Special pickups, reversed control plate, electrosocket jack Fender hardware, "F" tuners and neckplate....as close to '69 specs as i could get (like a '69 Charger, get it? ) The control plate has since been reversed, making the amp knob volume control much more useable.

It actually made of parts. Most given to me.

James Burton body, Hwy1 Tele neck, Fender Cij Paisley neck pickup, CiJ 52RI bridge pickup, 4 way switch, threaded saddles, shielded, and my one special bridge grounding that increased the grounding efficiency 1000% (I just made up the figure...)
