I love how you used the schallers they will use on "The Black One" Truely a fine piece. I suggest you keep that!

The schallers were not my choice. Like "The Black One" will be, this is a replica of Greg Koch's very unique Tele-bender

Squier Standard Telecaster. Just got it today, played it a bit. Will double check the setup and play it a bunch more tomorrow. I think it looks and feels great, and I am very excited about it.

I wish i know more about my tele... its a 2005 american deluxe, but i can't hardly find anymore info, as it doesn't look or feel like the other deluxes that year! its been hot rodded with a 59 in the bridge and a jazz burstbucker pro in the neck with tap coil switches in both knobs.

I'm a Strat guy but, I have one Tele. 1997 Am.Std. "Lefty" :D
Changed out the pickguard to black and put in a "Vintage Noiseless" in the neck position. Bought my first real Strat when I was 19 in 1977.
When I was turning 40, I said to my wife..."I'm going to be 40 and I've never owned a Telecaster". So she surprised me and bought me this! :D

I'm thinking your Tele may be a partscaster - the neck does not look "right" for an American Deluxe Tele - they have abalone dot markers and a chrome Fender logo. Your neck looks like it may have come from some other model.

Also, the bridge is heavily modified.

IN fact your guitar looks more like a Tele Plus, but that would be prior to 1998 if it is.

Wow! That is a sweet Tele. I bet it sounds like a dream. Wonder what she'll get you when you hit 50...

If you take the neck off there should be a date stamp on the neck and on the body itself. If they aren't close to the same date, there's a good chance that it is a parts-caster. If you want to find out more about the neck, you can send Fender the serial # and usually within a few days they'll get back to you with the specs of the guitar that it came from.

Here's the email address: consumerrelations@fender.com

Simple, not so stunning in looks, but this baby RAWKS! I named her "Big Tex" because of her killer Texas Roadhouse Tone...

Changed the neck pickup for a Mighty Mite P90, installed a 4-way switch and a Fender "No-Load" tone pot...and obviously changed the neck plate.

There's something just so beautiful about a simple black on black tele standard with maple neck.

Here's the love of my life. The Telecaster Deluxe Blackout model. Mi Negrita never lets me down. About to make some changes, going to go for a cream pickguard with black trim and Kinman Broadcaster Pickups. Gonna go from 3 to 2 pickups soon.
