Nice! The reason I got the black and white one is I want a work-horse guitar I can use anywhere...a bb-q, a club, a place of worship, a wedding reception, ...a funeral. I don't see taking my black and chrome ESP with dagger inlays and active EMGs and a kahler whammy to most weddings and funerals and my mahogany oiled Ibanez does well at bb-q's and most clubs, but it don't work with a tux or a suit or formal attire. Acoustics, any guitar will work. But, electrics, gotta be black and white for every occasion -- had to be a tele!

BUT, I do want a custom tele with my own colors for bb-q's and clubs and concerts! ...something freaking wild, with a Kahler tremelo on it, definitely a maple neck and alder body!

Anyways, cool color combo -- enjoy! 8)

..oh, I c u in ur tele too!

Here's my Tele.

A 2004 Highway One with Gotoh Magnum locking tuners, Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder pickups and a sexy pinup pickguard.

I notice a lack of leftys, so here's my meager stash..
A real '52 refin by Fred Stuart
Image
I just sold this beautiful '63 NOS to member Huzits
Image
This '93 Custom Shop '52 reissue (don't see many of these, mostly CS Nocasters) is in route to me..I really like the color of this guitar, not as yellow as a lot of the '52s..
Image
This isn't a Fender but it was made by Leo, one of two leftys made..
Image
And this is my Partscaster. Not really a Fender but it's probably the best playing of the bunch....one piece lightweight body by USA Custom Guitars, brazilian board, Alan Hamel/Fred Stuart pickups and Glendale hardware.

Alright. Now, this is getting spooky. I can't wait to get home and see what's happening on the tele forum!

Alls I can say is...WOW!. Witthaus! Thank you for sharing. You have incredible teles. And, I gotta agree with you on the CS 52 RI, the color looks much better with less yellow! Enjoy!

Thanks RCB! I've probably had 20 Teles but sold most of them off. The ones I have now are keepers. Well, I hope I keep them all but you know how GAS is...never say never...

...the camera's going back to the store, the tele is staying!

I'll post up better pictures with a better camera shortly!

tele-time!

I just may wind up buying another tele after seeing/playing a few of these new Standards. I love the 70's style logo and they really stepped up the quality control so far as I can tell. Nice flame on the back of that neck too!
