Wow, I actually like the way that body splits. It's distinctive. Mine splits straight down the middle; I hope the end pin never comes out!

I could never figure why it would be more desirable to have the seam of the body at the middle. It seems to me that the wood would resonate better if you had one solid piece in the middle and two wings (like your Lite Ash tele). Obviously one piece would be ideal for the same reason and I guess most people want the book matched look, but doesn't tone count for something?

I always wanted one of those "Copper Casters". About 10 years ago I worked in a Fender showroom and we had one that sat on the wall for what seemed like years. The day I finally decided to put some money down on it, someone must have been playing it, because when I came into work... there was a massive dent in the back of it. Almost looked like someone hit it with a hammer! I probably should have bought it anyway. Years later I finally got my hands on a 52 style, with a chambered body and a spruce top that wasn't mangled. Great guitars.

Just a little something I threw together... Image

Stay tuned.... Image

Ajay - fantastic as always!!!!!

I've never seen a copper with that much neck wear. Very, very nice. Sold my copper a few months back but have picked up a few since. Update coming soon.

Mine's a Standard '99 American Tele. It's been my favorite guitar since I picked it up for the first time.

Time for some Esquire love. Just changed out the bridge to this new Wilkinson one. Just love it.
