Interesting system. Could you possibly show us a close up of the front side of the headstock with the strings installed? I'd like to see the tuning posts with strings on.

How much weight would you estimate this system adds to your headstock over stock tuners? And do you find it makes your guitar feel neck-heavy?

Thanks.

So these fluted skirts on the posts, are they fluted as finger grips?
Are these a type of locking tuner?
Possibly using a similar mechanism to the PRS locking tuners?

This Tele Deluxe doesn't sport the correct-period large headstock Strat neck as the regular Tele head and 50s spaghetti decals suggest.

Yes they are a locking tuner. I am not familiar with the PRS tuners.

OK, Thanks. They're nothing like PRS tuners at all.
Still very interesting though. Thanks for sharing.
I like to learn something new everyday and you facilitated that quite nicely.

:D

Because this is the real Tele-Pix thread.
Take a look starting from the beginning.
There are some seriously cool Tele pix in here.

I will post the others later, but here is my latest. A 2016 Limited Edition "Channel Bound" American Telecaster Standard, with Custom Shop "Josefina" Twisted Tele pick-ups. Tortoise Shell on Black for completely killer looks too. Fully Plek'd and setup perfect. Plays like an absolute dream, and is a one of kind...

Bringing this topic back to life.

Here on the left is a very cheap Tele copy by Wesley, a really good guitar for the money, I've even used it on some recordings that I did before I got my Fenders.

On the right is my Squire, probably my least favourite guitar, I don't like the tuners on it or the pickups, so that's a project for a rainy day.

I'm certain I posted in this thread a few years ago.
I'm equally certain those pics are dead links now because they were hosted at the evil photobucket site.
I've had a few Teles over the years.
Like lots of guitar types, the Teles came and went in my collection.
This one stuck.
I've had it 19 years now and it scratches every Tele itch I ever get.
