I don't know what kind of help you expect from the forum...

But AVRI 52 weights vary a lot, from 6ish to 9ish, most common seems to be around 7.5 lbs.
Yours just happens to be among the heaviest ones.
So to avoid back (etc.) problems, choose the strap wisely and pay attention to your playing position.
On the positive side, the internet truth often says 'weight equals sustain' (unless it's a resonance equals sustain -day) - and of course you can get solace that many Les Pauls hit the 10 pound mark.

Thanks for your reply, I was shocked, it's not like fender's way making guitar!
I wonder if the weight will go down, after maybe 10years? even though it has 27 years old.
but mainly I want to know if the heavy one means not a good one. my friends have a theory that light one is good one because it has been dry enough......
please help on it

Thanks

Mine bought new in 2004 ; 8.2 lbs
I choose the best sounding one in the store, I don't look the weight.

Your Tele is at the heavier end of the range, and there's not a lot you can do about that. It will not get lighter as it gets older, but by then you may have changed the guitar for something else anyway. It may be a great sounding guitar though, and worth living with the weight.
