Thanks for the link. I just called fender and they said they would try and get me one. Its strange that they somehow missed a few.

It's all about quality control and sometimes things will slip by and no one notices that all the merchandise is not in the case with the guitar. Fender is pretty good about taking care of their customers. That is one of the reasons why I am a loyal customer to their brand. :D

That is the heaviest guitar I have ever picked up. I respect anyone who can play even a 45 minute set with that guitar.

I don't think these guitars are that heavy, compared to a Les Paul. The new Harrison model is chambered to relieve the weight, not like the original George played. :D

Great! Let us know how the guitar is, especially the finish on it. I have seen a few that had streaks through the finish and too me, it didn't look that great. My finish is solid, just like the original Harrison had. :D

arrived #400, nice finish to the wood no over bright lines like some i've seen nice even grain
no certificate and the control pate looks like it was put in by a monkey with a power driver (huge dent on the plate made by the screw going in ) needs a set up methinks ..... er' indoors was expecting something I little purtier ...... I think she would have loved the custom shop I nearly brought but I'm happy so lets go sort it out
not heavy around the same as my 52 reissue and highway 1 texas

Your guitar sounds like it had no quality inspection before you received it. You are supposed to have a certificate with it. I don't know if I would keep that guitar, since it has a dent in it on the control plate. I would contact the dealer where you purchased it and see if you can get a new guitar or some kind of refund to make up the difference on the damage to the guitar. I am glad your guitar has a nice finish on it.

I haven't sorted out a replacement for photobucket yet alas..
If you imagine a thin plate that has been screwed down too tight and gone concave around the screw.. it was really buggin me and could not ignore it.
I have sent it back to Fender to get it replaced. PMT online liaised with them for me, they were told that Fender wouldn't send me a new control plate but they would send one to PMT, they also said it would be too difficult/damaging for me to do and would invalidate the warranty on the control plate parts......(WTF 4 screws, 2 knobs and 2 nuts) any way its gone off to Fender to sort

Your dealer should be the one to get you your certificate for the guitar. The customer should not have to do that. It is your dealers responsibility to make sure you have everything that comes with the guitar, if not, then they contact their Fender Rep and get the problem resolved. :D
