Did anyone get any case candy with their George Harrison Telecaster, besides the cute little Fender bag?

There's a Paul Waller Masterbuilt Tribute version of the all-rosewood Beatle Tele, more expensive; it uses a vintage 7.25" radius, narrow jumbo frets and Abby '68 handwounds as opposed to the regular production models having a modern 9.5'' radius, medium fretwire and American Vintage '64 gray-bottoms.

Yep.

The Tributes employ Abby 68 Handwounds.

It seems the excitement of the release of this guitar is starting to die down, since there are no more available at this time from the websites that were advertising this guitar. :(

Oh that's sad as I was thinking about pulling the trigger, I wasn't sure, I was also wondering if $2500 could get me a better player as some of the cost I am sure is the signature thing, but rose wood looks so nice

You probably can pre-order a Harrison if you want one. Yes the price of the guitar is worth every penny. Fender did an outstanding job producing this guitar and rosewood is going to be harder to obtain, which will bring a higher price on guitars in the future. Go for it and get your George guitar! :D

Thank you for your incite, now I have to give it some thought not to much thought, for I am not sure if my playing is worthy of such a fine piece

Thanks, the real issue is I have never played a telecaster, so I should really get out there and at least see if it is a fit, I presently own a 2012 AM standard Stratocaster, which I just love and a Epiphone SG which I did a lot of upgrades and is fine for the job, but the George I am going at this point strictly on looks, which is not the best way of sussing out a guitar, but it is a great looking guitar

The little Fender bag was in the case with the certificate, ash try cover, case key for the lock, warranty manual. No case candy, no picks, no strap, no cable cord etc. I was a little disappointed on that, but this isn't a custom shop guitar and I guess this keeps the price down.

I never recieved a certificate with mine? The only things that came with mine are a fender sticker, warrenty manual, key, and the bag with the ashtray
