Interesting concept ... using pre-relic'd wood.
Think I will pass though.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I love Teles and Esquires, but that's a bit too rough for me. Probably plays great, but I'll pass.

It's a Yuriy Shishkov. He could make anything look good and play good.
I do want a Shishkov Tele or Esquire before I die. But I'd pass on this one. Too many fat old arses have sat on and farted on that wood for me not to think of it. It's a mind thing.

A bit on the expensive side at ten thousand pounds. Not for me.

It's very hard to believe that Yuriy Shishkov really had anything to do with actually building this wrenched looking, overpriced, Esquire.
Fender probably got the wood for the price of hauling it away.

Sorry Fender, it sounds like gimmick marketing nonsense to me.

I guess there will be no marketing discussion of "tone wood " with this one.......
Good luck with resale value once you tire of getting splinters in your hand and tearing up your clothes.

Well, cedar is considered a good tonewood.
But from the picture, you can easily see that it's just a glued on top. So most clothes should be safe.

I prefer the look of this when compared to some of the "reliced" atrocities that abound.
Too pricey for my pocket, but there's a finite amount of timber, and therefore a finite number of guitars can be made from it.
It's an exclusive product, with an exclusive price.
