Someone from the factory dropped off a couple 2nds at a local store here in LA and I bought one of the bodies. It already has the conductive paint inside the cavities and the bar code stickers. What I'm trying to figure out is what guitar this was originally meant to be. I've heard that the last two digits are the color. I'm not quite sure. I would like to hear it from somebody who really knows their stuff.

I don't know what guitar your body may be from, but I can guarantee you that highly unlikely that anyone from Fender actually dropped off a couple of Fender body 2nds to be sold at a music store, unless they were stolen from the factory.

In the pickup routing, the 0038417 is a part number for a MIA Telecaster Ash body. AFAIK, that doesn't tell the model it was intended for - been in AmStd's and plain Am's, U.S. Hot Rods and whatnut...
The 930 is (AFAIK, again) a number used to track the body on the production line.
In the service diagram the body part number would be color coded 0038417XXX; like 0038417501/White Blonde, 0038417502/Two Tone Sunburst, 0038417521/Natural.

The sticker in the control cavity... I've no idea.

Thanks, 930 is actually the model Porsche I wanted to drive so I knew that was a good omen. It's got some blems which is why it was rejected but I think if I use filler and a couple extra layers of some transparent paint I think I can make it blend well enough. Either way it's Tele Tuesday!
