First off, I'd like to state I'm new hear, so excuse me if I breach etiquette. I have recently, with a friend of mine, decided to build a guitar. The particular model is a Standard Telecaster. I was wondering where I could find a set of plans or templates to glue onto some MDF to cut my own templates from. I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE THIS VERY CLEAR: I am NOT branding this guitar as a telecaster, nor am I selling it. I'm just looking for some plans to reference from, to build MDF templates for the a unique guitar.

Much appreciated,

Stratovarius1

I checked stew mac, but it didn't any tele templates really. It had some pickup routing templates, and bridge routing templates, but I really need is a body template. I'll definitely be using it for sourcing parts though, thanks! I should have been a little more detailed in what I need. I'm looking for a body template made of MDF or some other pre-cut template, but if that doesn't work, than a paper one I can glue on myself and cut.

Don't know how many guitars you've built before, but usually DIY's don't get mixed up with legit Fenders.
Of course, you should respect all ®, ™, © & other symbols.

Don't worry, that's why I made it expressly clear I WASN'T going to do that; I thought I made that very clear. And how do you think people get the templates? I am only really using the body templates, because I'm using my own electronics and control plate. Thanks to everyone else for suggestions, visiting promptly.

In the spirit of avoiding using the trademark, you will get extra hits if you search around for "t-style guitar".
