Hi new here, I have a Fender AMS Tele it once had Texas specials in it. They were just a little hot for me , I change them out for Fender Pure Vintage 58s. I would like to know what flatswound strings you prefer on your tele, that is if you like flats. I have Flats on both my Fender Jazz bass and Fender P bass also my Yamaha 5 string, which I used E to High C . I used to play flats on my Gibson ES335, but sold it to buy a American Tele. I play Blues and 30 years worship in church. I also like to play a little Blues on the side and old country. Also I don't want to have to sale my house to buy them.

Hey porkpie, did you decide on strings for your telecaster? What do you use? I am about to change strings on my tele standard, stock pick ups. I think I have flats on my special edition tele and they are great, but I forgot what I put on there, lol, through the package away.
