I have a 2005 tele (SN: Z5150744). I'm pretty sure it's made in USA. but how about the series?
It has a Greasbucket Tone Circuit, and a vintage style bridge. The price was $979.00. But it wasn't Highway 1

Pics coming soon

I have basically the same question. :)
I have a 2003 telecaster (SN: Z3136303), and I wondering about the series.
It's not highway, but I couldn't find exact the same guitar. I have a chrome bridge(not the vintage style), a honey blonde body. Here on the web I couldn't even find standard honey blonde tele.

In 2003 they started to make a Highway one Texas Telecaster that was also available in Honey Blonde that had a Ash body I not sure what kind of bridge. I would have to look at my old catalogs. I do no it cost like 200 to 250 more then a regular HWY 1 Tele.

Thank you! :)
So you think that is a highway tele? But the highway tele has that vintage style bridge, mine is that "more quality" bridge what the standards has.

Oh, and on the back plate is said Corona, Cakifornia!
It's strange that from the serial number you cannot find out all the details about the guitar. It's got to be a way to find out. In fact, I don't even know that my guitar is ash, elder, or maple.

Looking at my Catologs it show that the American Telecaster Ash was also availble startig in 2003 with a Honey Blonde Finish and a Black pickguard. That would have the six saddle STB bridge like the American Std Tele's

Oh, thank you so much for your help! :)
So, that's a standard or High way or something else? (I have white pick guards)
I just trying to estimate the price of my guitar. (it's mint condition)
And I'm gonna get a '05 standard sunburst tele soon (from my brother who lives in USA. I live in Europe), and I'll keep just one, and it's a big dilemma which one should I keep. (off course I'll try both, maybe there is some tone difference, but if not, I have to decide)
What do you reccomend? :)
(personaly I like the whitish color better, but maybe this sunburst is more quality....I don't know.)
