Hi: I have recently bought a telecaster vintage reissue 52. Checking all the docs which come with the guitar, i read in some of these docs "imported from México" or "Instrumentos musicales fender,S.A de C.V. Ensenada, Baja California" and i,m a little worried that is not an original american vintage.
The serial number is V1528858. I bought it in an official store in Madrid (Spain) where i live.
Could you please confirm if this is an original american telecaster, and if so, the reason for which in these papers (owner's manual) looks like if it would come from México? Thanks very much in advance for your help. Best rgds laloman

Most likely the store clerk just grabbed the first papers he could find.
There isn't a MIM '52 re-issue, and the only model that comes close has serial numbers starting with M.
