Hey Guys,

New to the forum.

Went to a pawnshop today and found a nice Made in the USA Tele for a good deal.

I was wondering if someone could decode the serial number for me.

It is as follows. Z7274111

I'm assuming it's an 07. I just want to be aware, and not purchase a fake.

One more quick questions, the neck plate on the back of the guitar was blank. Chrome, but nothing on it. Is this normal? Thanks alot.

Mine also says Corona on the neck plate.

check the suppport/resources area of the website, they have the list of id numbers so you can where and when your guitar was built.
