I'm building a 72 thin line from parts. Starting with the body. Has anyone used TV Jones Classics in place of the Fender Humbuckers?

Nope, but a couple of observations:

- The '72 Thinline uses Wide Range Humbuckers, which is a bigger package. You will need a custom shim/adapter to get other pickups to fit properly - the mounting bracket most pickups come with won't do.
- If putting TV Jones pickups in it, you probably want to change the volume pot from 250k to 500k.

Thanks.
Just getting started with the body first. I'm guessing a custom pickguard will have to be built to hold the TV Jones.
Love the look and sound of them. Didn't think they'd fit a standard 72 setup.

This project may take forever. Not in a hurry. Just want to do correctly.
