Hi,

A friend show me is new guitar a 2012 telecaster he bought used.
Serial number is V + 7 digits

I'm looking to find wich model it is and where is made , USA or MIM or ?

On Fender serial number, US made Vintage serial number are V +5 or 6 digits.
Nothing about V+7 digits

In 2012 there are Classic Series '60s and and the American Vintage, both look same

Here some pictures inside the body. Thank you.

It's an American Vintage Tele - the part number matches the ash body with the white blonde finish used on both the AV '58 and the AV '64 Teles. If it has a rosewood fingerboard, it's the AV '64; if it's a maple fingerboard, it's the AV '58. These are both part of the revised American Vintage series that was released in August of 2012.

It appears that Fender hasn't updated their "US Product Dating" page since early 2012; the "V + 5 or 6 digits" serial number format was accurate for the older American Vintage Reissue series. However, the revised American Vintage series (August 2012 and later) has a different serial number format - the "V" is now followed by 2 digits for the year of production, then a 5-digit of the serial number. So for 2012 it would be a "V12xxxxx" serial number.

Sorry, no link I can think of off the top of my head. Fender has been the best site, but they do need to get their pages caught up to current production years.
