3/16 inches.

Use only quality tool wich fit tight in the nut , cheap allen key could damage truss rod nut.

Hi Davie,
You need an SAE 3/16" Hex Key or Allen Wrench for a Fender Standard Telecaster.
S.A.E. is an acronym for the "Society of Automotive Engineers" when used in conjunction with non-metric, American tools.

You may be able to purchase a 3/16" Hex (Allen) wrench (PN: 0038467000) directly from Fender by contacting Fender Customer Support with the part number, or here:
http://shop.fender.com/en-US/parts/moun ... 67049.html

Fender also makes a Fender "T-Shaped" 3/16" Hex (Allen) wrench (PN: 0048693000), which you may also be able to order through Fender Customer Support with the part number.
It is also sold here:
http://www.amazon.com/Fender-T-Shaped-T ... B003AYP9B8

Any SAE 3/16" Hex Key or Allen Wrench that is long enough, should work.

Good advice from stratele52.
Please don't be tempted to use a 4.5mm hex key which is the closest metric to 3/16"

Please don't be tempted to use a Three Square File and a pair of Vice Grips........

Also, please don't be tempted to use a Flathead Screwdriver with the Truss Rod Nut filled with Iron Filings.......

Fender doesn't ship outside the US.
But European online music stores should be able to do Cyprus, if you don't find the imperial wrench (now, that sounds like some evil creature from Star Wars...) locally in a hardware store.
If you lack the basic guitar tools, consider a guitar toolbox set.

Seconded. The Fender branded one assembled by Cruztools is pretty good, and will get you at least halfway to a good set of tools.
Otherwise, Stewart-MacDonald will have most of what one might need.
